What is Chiropractic
Chiropractic is a complimentary health care profession that focuses on disorders of the nervous and musculoskeletal systems. It is a drug-free, hands-on approach using a wide range of therapeutic techniques. The most common is spinal manipulation, also called a “chiropractic adjustment”. This is a controlled force into the affected joints. The purpose of manipulation is to free the movement of the joints such that they can move in the correct way. A healthy, freely moving and stable joint will not be painful and will be able to function well.
